First Rose 2021

Right on time in June the first rose in my garden to bloom: rosa rugosa.
Lots of flowers blooming in my garden now and NO bees at all.
I did catch a pair of ladybugs having an intimate moment on the rose leaves in full sunshine-- as soon as he spied the camera lens they slipped off to the ground. I didn't know they could be so smart.
