A Special Surprise

A couple of days ago Shelly and I were shopping at our local market. We were in the PB&J isle and I was buying some Bonne Maman jelly. A lady came by and I chatted with her about the company and how they helped save people during the Holocaust and the particular jelly I especially like. She bought some too and Shelly and I walked off to check out, talking and laughing together as we often do. Just as I finished paying for my groceries the same lady came up to me with these flowers. She thanked us for how we had made her day and gave us these gorgeous peonies. I was flabbergasted and delighted. The flowers were mostly buds and already lovely. But look at them now. Wow! She made my day.
