Cool Dude

This handsome fellow in his pin-striped jacket is a flesh fly. You probably don't want to know why he's called that so I won't go into details. Apparently there are four different ones in New Zealand, but I don't know which this one is. One of them is attracted to human skin, which is rather unpleasant. They pester you when you are busy working in the garden.

Family: Sarcophagidae. Best seen large.
