An impromptu trip out to St Junien today. There's a Depot Vente there and the one in Lussac is closed at weekends. We are looking for an old washstand to upcycle for the new bathroom. It's an excuse to give the Batmobile an airing anyway.

Didn't find the right washstand but bought six books for one Euro - mostly curry cookery books but I picked up an Anne Tyler for myself. Today's Extra is an item that sorely tempted me. I like a bit of Deco...


As for today's image, don't give me a hard time! Not promoting the consumption here, I simply liked the look of the sign. Another Extra is the butcher's shop that goes with the sign. If I can upload them, that is. I'm having problems.
