Peony

Posting Friday's photo on wrong day again.  Our magenta peony bush finally bloomed this year for the first time.  It took 3 or 4 years...

Leaving momentarily for a road trip alone, somewhat of a big deal for me in a few ways.  I'm sure all will be well.  I won't be able to post photos until I return on Sunday night or Monday.
