Heath spotted orchid

Only a handful of Heath spotted orchids were to be found this afternoon on Chailey Common in the area where there are usually dozens. Perhaps there will be more later in the month. This one has the added bonus of a Crab spider (bottom left) ready to ambush a fly or micro moth drawn to the flowers.
