Shelfie Selfie

The beautiful model of the ship (MV Aba) was made by my dad, who was one of her deck officers during WW2, and behind the model chair (made by me 40 years ago) is my younger brother, who died young many years ago. The sepia photo is my father’s grandmother I believe - the only photo that we have of her. In the frame, just out of shot, is a drawing by the artist Joseph Southall, a distant relative, who was on the fringes of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Such a lot of history, just in these few items.
