Waiting for the tow truck

Not a bad spot to wait and the dogs didn't seem bothered that we were walking up and down the same bit of beach so I could keep the car in sight waiting for this or that rescue guy.

Well the keys didn't turn up and so we called the RAA. Silly thing about this car is I have a spare key but need the remote to get into it (don't have a spare of that). If I try to get in with the key the alarm goes off and the engine is immobilized. One is supposed to be able to override this feature but it doesn't work. So... it's been taken away. The RAA guy opened the door long enough to get the bonnett up so he could disconnect the battery to stop the alarm and put the car into neutral.
