'Finally Some Relief'

Last night was horrible, an overnight low temp of 28 degrees.

Sleeping was difficult in our hot house. We do have ceiling fans in 2 rooms, the upstairs living area which gets really hot because of the heat rising and the kids downstairs play area. Both of the kids slept out under the fan last night and seemed to get some descent sleep, while Mrs R set herself up outside on our front deck sleeping on top of a doona underneath the stars.

Mid morning a cool change swept across Melbourne, lowering the temps by around 10 degrees which was a very welcome relief. The next few days should be even cooler and possibly a shower or two heading our way.

The F1 Grand Prix season kicks of in Melbourne this weekend, practise stars tomorrow for the first race of the season so we'll be hearing the cars whizz around the Albert Park Lake some 7 or 8 km away from our office. They are LOUD.

Also tonight Neil Young & Crazy Horse are playing, a gig I would have killed to see, then another show on Friday night at Rod Laver Arena. March is a HUGE month in Melb for big name touring artists, too many to list here.

Caught the late afternoon sun lighting these grass seeds, so here is today's blip.
