7 days?

Studying the Genesis account of creation at housegroup using a recording of our ministers Genesis holiday bible school. Very interesting to hear the debate over whether creation literally took 7 days or not only became an issue in last 50 years or so! Our minister after some good logical explanation concludes that it's not conclusively narrative or parable but that either way the truth of the passage (that our world isn't an accident but created) still stands and the time frame is by no means the important point the writer was trying to convey. Had some good and varied discussions.
