Distant Kips

Another cracking day, another walk in the Pentlands. Not an overwhelming success admittedly; too far and an hour longer than we thought, a steep climb where hiking sticks would’ve been good but were sitting back home, a second hill that we were definitely not climbing, parts of the track turned into ruts by mountain bikes and then the sole started to part company with one of S’s boots! On the plus side though, it was great weather and the scenery was fabulous.
The view is looking west towards the Kips from above Glencorse reservoir. We’ll maybe do them another time.
