Winter Damsel

Common Winter Damsel (Sympecma fusca) ovipositing in the garden pond, Beveren, Belgium

That's great as I've now observed two species of damselfly ovipositing in the new pond. Next! Maybe a dragonfly.

I believe those tiny black vaguely fish shaped things swimming around are damselfly nymphs.
