Whiff of Spices

If you passed by the house today, you would have caught a whiff of the spices cooking over the stove. Imagine cinnamon, cloves, cardamon pods, star anise, garlic, ginger, turmeric, kaffir lime simmering gently for a couple of hours in a wok half-filled with coconut milk and lamb to make Rendang.
