Penguin hunt.....

....fellow blipper JMK and I were on the penguin trail today, it was lots of fun!

These three are just some of what we found:
Kia Manawaroa was created by Morgan Mathews-Hale (Kaitiaki Studios). It relates to our urban resilience in Otautahi, Christchurch and surrounding areas as we adapt and transform from a series of trying times through wellbeing and growth.

Gary Te Tuahangata (Gary The Hero) created by Kaiapoi North School.
With the disruptions and uncertainties we have all faced with Covid 19 this year, this penguin represents the hero that the world never imagined it would need. Armed/Flippered with sanitiser, a mask and a QR scanner, Gary Te Tuahangata will be a mighty force of defence for Aotearoa.

Birds of a Feather created by: NEST Arts Collective
This design, ‘Birds of a Feather’, brings together a collection of unique native birds, which have been painted across the surface of the penguin.
