Surrounded by a Heavenly Scent

The Locust trees are in full bloom and the minute you step outside you are enveloped in a heavenly scent.  It reminds me of Honeysuckle but stronger.  I am not the only one attracted to the lovely white clusters the cover the trees.  The bees find it irresistible too although I have to admit that over the years their numbers seem diminished.   Very soon, the petals will start to fall and it will be like a snowstorm in June, a wonderful sight.  Our intense heatwave continues today but I'm hoping by Thursday we will have some relief.  It is brutal.
