blowballs

First phase of spring is over, dandelions are turning into blowballs. Much too early this year. In autumn, the 2nd generation of them will appear. Or will there be 3 generations in 2007? It's unusually warm.

Although there is no (repeat: no) special entity in this image, I personally enjoyed very much the richness of nature that becomes manifested in just such a small cutout of earth when taking a walk this afternoon. These simple plants are much more sophisticated than everything mankind has built so far (and surely will). The development of the NASA Space Shuttle that is predicated to be the most complex machine on earth is a laugh compared to the processes that take place in such a small biotope daily at billions of places everywhere in just this second. Mankind needs to behave more respectful to earth, or it will annihilate life on this planet.
