Storm Damage

This small bit of Ruffle Lichen blew down from the Oak tree canopy at the DogPark. We had a powerful rainstorm yesterday evening, of short duration but with some damaging winds. There was some tree damage with several large limbs down and many beautiful Lichens were torn from their high perches finding themselves on the ground which sadly heralds their demise. It does however give me a chance to see and admire them.
