Cornflower Lane

Yesterday I thought I had found some nice cornflowers on my walk.

But: I went for another walk after work today and came across this endless Cornflower Lane. It was sooooo pretty!

An about 3 m wide and almost 2 km(!) long strip on the edge of a field, where the farmer left room for the wildflowers to grow and bloom. And how they grow and bloom! In between the blue of the cornflowers and the white of the marguerites are the red dots of poppies. Beautiful. Bee heaven.
In the extra a closer look.
