Blue-tailed

I had some time to myself this morning as my other half went for his second Covid vaccination. 

It was good to take my time and watch for my favourite critters - the damselflies. The female of these come in a variety of colours. (see extras)

We also have an interloper black swan too. It's a youngster that's just appeared. Unfortunately, the resident family of 5, who've been here for a few years, are not happy it's here. The poor thing is getting chased and bullied mercilessly! 

We've also got two mute swan families. I hope I can get some images in the next few days.
