We did a roughly circular trail of geocaches in Ormskirk, including an adventure lab and a couple of earthcaches.
Ormskirk was a pleasant surprise, having never walked round the place before, but passing through (in car) many times.
There are some very interesting parts, some quaint streets and lots of shops, a very nice park with a lake and lots to see.
The war memorial above was one stage of the adventure lab cache and also it was an earthcache location.
Sorry for muggles (non-geocachers) reading this as it's stuff only geocachers understand.
Geocaching is good fun and great for all the family so if you don't know about it, look it up on www.geocaching.com and we'll see if we get any new recruits.
