Seed planting display

Was doing a shift in the church shop this morning for which I was late because I made a banana cake. I missed the bus because the cake needed a longer time and when I had a piece at church to make sure it was okay it was slightly undercooked in the middle but still tasted delicious!

The ladies were working on this arrangement and adding bits and pieces to refresh it! The idea was created by Sheila March and the lady that you can see sitting behind the display is one of the church’s flower arrangers.

The main blue quilt in the picture is the one that was sent from America and which will be sent back along with other quilts from the display for the American quilt exhibition for the mayflower anniversary. It will be interesting to see how much the voluntary contributions will be which are actually going to the Alzheimer’s society and UNICEF, half and half!

Extras. Another flower exhibit of the arrive late to America and one of my favourite quilts because of all the fishes!
