Not a welcomed sight

This is a chestnut carpenter ant. I saw it on our back door. After reading about then I'm a bit worried. Hubby will have to craw under the house and take a look soon. This was the only pic I took all day. This time of year is just to busy. I finally got my sunflowers planted. So that will give me something to look forward to this fall. All new varieties this year so it should be interesting!
