beautiful male siskin

I'm so lucky, every day I get 20 or so of these little birds in my garden, maybe even more. It's a mix of male and female but right now the males are stunning!...They make a pretty good racket in the trees too, chattering away noisily, no doubt discussing which feeder to bicker over next!

Yesterday morning there were 10 waxwings at the end of the road on the way to work, this eve on the way home a lovely little owl scowling at me :)
