I had to check with my dad what sort of nuts these were and he assured me they're Beech...in all the years of blipping, today was the first day he's ever asked me why I needed a certain subject for a photo on visits to his lovely garden! Workaholic that he is, now he's approaching 80 he spends a little more time enjoying the garden rather than just maintaining it in spare time :)
