Shower over the Firth

This pic, taken from the shore at Toward School, shows the variety of weather and scenery of this part of the world. The Arran hills are still majestic with the snow of the weekend, there is a shower falling somewhere over the south of the Island of Bute, and the Rothesay ferry is setting off for Wemyss Bay.

It was a flat calm after the strong winds of the last few days, and Arran was looking particularly marvellous.
