Progress of a sort

All our goods came out of store in Aberdeen today, and lodged more locally so we can sort through it. I forgot we had so much stuff in the old house. There will be boot sales, charity shop donations, auctions and some high end online book sales.

Very disappointed that a mule chest, three of s set of eight dining chairs and a bed, all Georgian, were badly damaged in store.There is insurance, and repairs can be done, but we could have done without it.

In other news, last month we ordered our kitchen and bathroom fittings from B&Q, where everything was "in stock". Then they gacve us a delivery date on the end of August. Applause for Sandra in Inverness who broke the order up, rescheduled it for the next three weeks. Even if we do have to hang around all day for NINE separate deliveries. There goes the diary!
