Silvanus

An excellent walk with Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Ramblers this morning around Nethercroy and up and over Croy Hill.

Our route took us past the sculpture called 'Silvanus' designed by the artist Svetlana Kondakova and meant to represent the head of a Roman soldier. It's part of the 'Rediscovering the Antonine Wall' project, as was the replica distance slab in yesterday's Blip.

(Hoping to add an extra photo later with a rare photo of all 5' 4" of me to give a sense of the size of the sculpture.)
