Not sure if I should nip these in the bud or not, there are plenty of other flowers for the bees and other nectar drinking insects and the stem and leaves of this common sow thistle look rather big and menacing, might need some force to get it out, root and all. But those petals look delicate and dreamy in the early morning sun.
For Wild Wednesday with thanks to Cailleach for hosting :-)
Also caught a buzzing fly on one of the oxe-eye dasies and loads of mini green monsters on a poppy bud, see the extras.
Remember tomorrow's optional Abstract Thursday theme is 'filter'. Any kind of filter will do , whether in camera or in edit, but if you have the time and inclination do have a try with anything you have a home which could act as a filter when you hold it before your lens , it is really fun ! Tomorrow's tag is AT311
Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's hollyhock buds seen from above.
