Connected

Regional areas of NSW were connected to Sydney by the Western Railway Line from the 1860s.
It used to go 825km to Bourke but now is only operational for passengers as far as Dubbo (462km), which is where I grew up. I remember several trips on the Western Mail, which was a steam train back then.
This view from Blackheath looking west is for Bob's Wide Wednesday theme of "connected".

There is 100% chance of snow forecast for tomorrow. We had a few flurries today and it certainly felt about as cold as it gets here.
Hopefully there will be a blip in it.
