The Sutherland Brotheres & Quiver

The Sutherland Bothers were harmony singers and song writers. Quiver was a failing rock group. So the two halves united to good effect. I only bought this CD a few weeks ago, but I remember seeing SB or SB&Q as a support band a couple of times in the seventies. I love this music. To me it is not about nostalgia, its about good music, even if they did sound like the Scottish Eagles at times. Their only hit was 'The Arms of Mary,' and of course they also wrote 'Sailing.'  (Rock on Rod.) Listen to them here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OtNsjbdNtA

Late news: One oystercatcher chick and one gull chick, looking pretty scared but surviving.
