Hello Quinten

We moved down to the labour ward about 5am, and continued into the second part of the induction about 9am. The midwives were incredible: supportive, kind, really 'with us' and respectful of our choices. I was able to stay relatively mobile, and they were delighted with the progress we made. We went from 1cm dilated early in the morning to 9cm dilated at about 3.30pm. Within the hour we were pushing, and enjoying an active delivery. Quinten was born at 4.58pm, weighing 6.8lb, 49cm.
Sax and Q had a wonderful first few hours together beside me, and we were joined by Granny and Grampa Grant later than evening. Here they are with their grandson.
