Old Roman Bridge, Musselburgh

The Bridge was built by the Romans around 100AD, rebuilt on the original foundations sometime before 1300 and again in 1597 when the 3rd arch was added at the east side of the River Esk. It is now a pedestrian Bridge keeping both sides of Musselburgh connected. Thanks to Bob'sBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday themed connected.
