Bara Brith

Yesterday I soaked dried fruit in strong Tea & Sugar, I left it overnight as I didn't have time yesterday to finish it.
This afternoon I added SR Flour, mashed Banana & mixed Spice, then put the mixture in a tin & baked for approx an hour & half.
While warm I brushed the top of the cake with Maple Syrup.
I decided to try & make this cake after I heard someone on TV saying how much he liked Bara Brith, it's a Welsh recipe
