willow harvest

Its that time again when we lose some willows.  They've been marked for ages, but its always a shock to see the fallen.  New trees are planted to replace them, and the timber goes to make cricket bats..... at least that's what the plantation was originally planted for.  Now I don't know!  how many cricket bats are made and needed each year?
