Something fishy going on here

Barbara and David travelled down from Edinburgh today to help provide us with some respite from caring duties.

They’re with us for around three weeks, 10 days of which we’ll be in the Lakes. We’re looking forward to being able to take our foot off the gas and recharge our batteries.

Other than that it was the usual Wednesday. Joe Wicks and allotment in the morning with time diverted from cultivating to talking about strategies to oppose the Council’s plans to move us.

We walked to Notcutts Garden Centre in the afternoon to look at aquatic plants for the pond. I was fascinated by the fish which obviously provided today’s blip.

Much talking about Doreen filled the evening. I was absent for a while as this was a Marmite Uke evening which was very enjoyable.
