Cape Fuchsia

This plant, Cape Fuchsia, drives me mad! Every year it is cut down to the level of the water barrel cage. Problem is that it has such a virulent growth that it soon shoots up to the top of the kitchen windows, and also outwards making it difficult to get to the water barrel tap so I often chop it away, at the bottom, to clear the tap area.
Oh, and the other thing I don't like is the dripping of the nectar. Whenever you are filling the watering can it drips down onto my head, and it's quite sticky.
a big HOWEVER though, is that the flowers are quite pretty and the copious amounts of sticky nectar attracts the bees, and we all like anything that is good for the bees don't we.
