Forest Fun!

Some friends and I have started up a little nature group a bit like a forest school but less official. Today was the first outing and I think it was a success! The kiddos took turns pond dipping (though there wasn't much to find at this time of the year, one dead snail, one wiggly critter and a lot of dead leaves) they still enjoyed it! Then there was some wildflower identification, leaf tromping, fungus inspecting (like in the picture) and a walk through the woods with a side of breaking ice with sticks.
