First Veggie Box 2021

Really lovely to go and collect our first veggie box of the year. Better still to enjoy a really fresh salad this evening. It struck me that I hadn't bought a supermarket beetroot since last year because they just don't have the freshness of these.

A long, long telephone chat with my school friend Mary. We were supposed to be meeting in London today but we postponed as she is waiting for a hip replacement and can't walk far.

A bit more gardening this pm, including planting my blueberry twig, soon to be a bush I hope! It's got 2 berries on it so far.
