A witch's rabbit

Ended the working day by walking through the wild flowers in the Black Park, down through the field with no name, in to the bottom of Sgomair briefly and back through Beyond Wigwam 1and Wigwam 1 which was utter bliss.  Literally hundreds and hundreds of Heath spotted orchids, with Fragrant and Greater butterfly orchids beginning to flower.

Extras: We saw a Cinnabar moth (lovely) and a black rabbit, known locally as a witch's rabbit.

The rest of the day was pretty nonstop but had its moments. R came to shear the Herdies, S got up so early to get them under cover before it rained.

A group of young ecologists/zoologists came to interview us and create film of the farm for their podcasts/vlogs.  I dread to think how that will work out, hate public speaking so we asked not to be filmed while they were recording us.

10 minutes after they left A arrived, and we had an enjoyable meeting talking about my possibly doing some photography as part of a community tree project, which sounds really interesting.

In between times, a charming man from JLs rang about the missing bed base and I did some catching up on the computer.
