The far, far north

Yesterday we hopped in the car, bade farewell to London and travelled north. We spent the night in the little Scottish town of Lockerbie, known sadly, as the town on to which the bombed PanAm Flight 103 crashed killing all on board and 11 people on the ground in 21st December 1988. Today we travelled even further north seemly experiencing all kinds of weather as we went. When we left temperatures were due to reach 29 in London, we are in the lower teens here, have bought fleeces and jumpers which had been put away for the summer.
