Living my dream

This walkway runs between the truck (kitchen, dining, bathroom) and the study.

Even in summer the sunshine rarely reaches it, tucked as it is into the south-facing hill and further shaded by the buildings and the water tank. In previous winters it has been walkable with ease once any frost has lifted. This winter however the increased under- and over-growth has resulted in it remaining wet or even icy all day, which in turn has resulted in moss and lichen growth underfoot.

Remaining upright when walking along it is now only achieved with extreme care. Accordingly clearing back the vegetation and then scrubbing the wooden slats has just reached the top of the 'to do' list.

The 'to do' list takes up three closely-scrawled pages in my notebook.
