Photographic Poeticisms

Colour of Clean

What's the colour of clean
It can't be dirty, or obscene
Or, it wouldn't be clean

What's the colour of dirt
Would it offend, or hurt
To clean up the dirt

What's the colour of life
Is it the pleasures or the strife
That colours one's life

What is the colour of money
A purse that's empty's not funny
Desperation begs money

What the colour of the land
Does wildlife's blood mix with the sand
To colour and pervert this land

What's the colour of death
Is it the red mist of a fox's last breath
Or the pelt of a badger in its death

What's the colour of our future
Would that it be the death of the abuser
That, would bring a bright, bright future
