Snap, crackle, and pop

Another trip to Leroy Merlin today. We are tired of the heat in our bedroom and decided that the time has come to fit some blinds to the skylight. Poitiers had none in stock but the Limoges store had two. We still need two more for the rear of the house. We plann a belt and braces job on this one and have some reflective film coming on Tuesday. If we can keep the heat gain down sufficiently we won't need to burn electricity by running the aircon before bedtime.

Double whammy from the bedroom blinds, the full moon won't be shining right in my face any longer. It's sheer bad luck that the full moon passes directly over the skylight.

Very hot again today. We had the top down going but elected to benefit from the aircon on the way home. Grand Frais was deliciously cool but horribly busy and I was repeatedly jostled by a woman who clearly doesn't understand the distancing rule. I glared. Then I inserted the trolley between the two of us. She glared back. Fuming, I reckon.

A light meal of Tapas in the garden this evening and we may well sit out until the lights come on. We have a full box of Sangria, so I believe that we are sorted.
