All part of the story

Water avens

Water avens with Marsh thistle behind it, growing down in the sea field along a boggy bit of rocky shoreline.   An early blip today as I went with S to check the Cheviots at lunchtime.   Lovely to walk through a different habitat for a change, coastal heath, with the scent of Bog myrtle - and wild Honeysuckle about to flower right on the shoreline.

Trying to clear the desk before heading south tomorrow to bring M back home for the summer.
