Freddie wave watching

A long drive, very early this morning from Ross back to Scarborough, surprised to find really quite heavy snowfall from Malton onwards. Where's Spring?! The town seemed to have missed out on the inland snow, but the easterly winds which has brought the freezing temperatures was whipping up waves in the North Bay. The now landmark sculpture Freddie, seemed to be impassively watching the growing waves. As I turned away after taking this photo, an enormous wave broke over the seawall, grrr! But I was as cold as the steel Freddie is made from, and don't have his steely patience.
