Not quite as sunny as I’d hoped first thing but nipped down to my appointment at the Apple store and managed to get my watch working again (well, the ‘genius’ I spoke to told me how to do it when I got back home!) then went to pay in a cheque (who uses those any more?!) and headed home. Dithered a bit about what to do but in the end headed out to Gullane and enjoyed a lovely afternoon, walking along the beach, lying in the dunes reading a book, watching the windsurfers and families building sandcastles, and even two couples dancing salsa in swimsuits whilst being filmed! So much windier than last week when we needed it for the landyachting, but warm.
Chatted to T who was driving home from a roasting day of garden work, hearing that the opening of the club is likely to be delayed again given Westminster are signalling their concerns, but he may still have to open as a bar even if not a club. He’d definitely like not to have to do it any more but not sure he could survive only on the gardening work all year round.
Home and chatted to Mt a bit as he was making the kids’ tea…looking forward to seeing them all again next weekend. Settled down to watch Chernobyl…only 2 years since everyone else saw it!
