Campsite in the morning sun

After a windy night I woke up to such a beautiful morning - the sun was out and the air was full of birdsong, and once rounded out with a walk and a mug of hot tea it was the perfect way to start the day.

The cycle back home was quite windy but just as lovely, and after a lunch stop in Falkirk I was back home by 4pm. It was a bit strange to be back as it felt like I had never been away! I'm going to start planning out my next trip soon - hopefully this time I'll be away for a few days and really get the full cycle tour experience!
