Chanonry Point

Last day of the holiday! And Rob’s birthday.
We had another great day, starting with a boisterous crossing back to Scrabster, I saw a minke whale.
We travelled to Helmsdale for a lunch break, then on the way south we had a splendid view of a young sea eagle chasing geese.
We decided to call in at Chanonry Point as it is highly esteemed as a bottlenose dolphin viewing place. The tide was in, and we were lucky! Some great views of them, see extra photograph taken by Katie. She now thinks that dolphin watching is always like this!
We arrived at our final Airbnb near Inverness to be greeted by a red squirrel! So not a bad day as travel goes!
