Artist at work

The blank walls of inner western Sydney buildings are rapidly filling with this type of graffiti. It manages to give everything it's stuck to a derelict look, which the building may already have had. What you see in the photo is new. It wasn't there on Wednesday.

As I wandered about today I saw someone just getting started on a blank wall. He was doing a big hot pink flower. Then a police car pulled up and two officers got out to have a chat with him. I didn't stay around, but he was, after all, painting a big hot pink flower. An offence to the senses at least.
