After dark

We entertained again this evening. The weather was beautiful, and it seemed a shame not to make the most of it. After everyone had gone I stood at the bottom of the garden and meditated briefly on how lucky we are to have the home and lifestyle that we have. It was a rather lovely moment. I felt the mazel was strong and I was connected to something bigger.

As for the rest, we cleaned out the fridge and went for a lovely bike ride through local leafy lanes before coming home to prepare supper.
